Michael Cue MonticueApril 27, 1943 ~ January 15, 2018 (age 74)
Michael “Cue” Monticue, surrendered his battle and entered into the kingdom of Heaven, on January 15, 2018, in Fort Worth. Born April 27, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Paul and Doris Monticue, Cue served in the US Air Force, and was stationed in Guam.
Cue attended Broadcasting School, and was a professional bowler for 10 years, and traveled extensively playing in tournaments. He worked for Western Electric, ATT and Lucent Alcatel for 34 years, retiring in 2001. He became a Christian in 1983 and attended Eastland Street Church of Christ for many years. In 1990, he and his wife became members at Altamesa Church of Christ, and served faithfully there for over 27 years. Cue was the “door man” for the Tuesday lunch program, and served tirelessly picking up and distributing food to those in need.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Altamesa Church of Christ at 12:00 Noon, and services will be follow at 1:00. Interment with honors at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery will be Tuesday, January 23 at 11:00 AM.
Cue leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Peggy, Sons: Maurice Thomas and Darren Monticue, Daughter: Michelle Payton and husband Leslie, Grandchildren: LaVerne, James, Devon, Jordan and Jayden, 5 Great-Grandchildren, and a hosts of friends.
