Mary Margaret Mooney Youngblood, of Fort Worth, formerly of Trenton and Kansas City, Missouri, passed away in Fort Worth on January 16, 2018, just 3 months shy of her 90th birthday.
Mary was born April 28, 1928 in Swickley, PA to the late Frederick and Venita Mooney. They moved to Trenton, then to Kansas City in 1940, where she resided until moving to Fort Worth in 2000 to be near her daughter and family. Her husband, Don Youngblood, predeceased her in 1994.
Mary was a commercial artist, drawing images first, for the merchandise in the Sears & Roebuck catalogs and later as a freelance print artist. She was a God-fearing woman, and a wonderful wife and mother.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton, MO.
She is survived by her only child, Cheryl Turner and her husband David, and her granddaughter Jennifer Turner.
