Marion (Bud) Hayden Wade, a life-long area resident, died September 2, 2017, at the age of 80 after a lengthy illness.
He was born August 6, 1937 in Alvarado, Texas to William Hayden Wade and Wilma Crow. He graduated from Alvarado High School. He was married to Marsha Neal Wade for 34 years until her death earlier this year.
Marion served in the Texas Air National Guard for 32 years retiring as a senior master sergeant in the 136th Tactical Airlift Wing stationed at Hensley Field in Grand Prairie. In addition, he was employed as a full-time air technician with the Guard. His military stint included assignments in Germany and the Panama Canal.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife, sister, Geraldine Adams, and brother, Max Wade. He is survived by his sister, Maxine Fletcher; nieces, Kathy Adams Levi, Janice Adams White, Sandy Rascoe Marr; nephews, Kevin Wade and Randy Rascoe; and Marsha’s three sons, David, Paul and John Allen.
